A Chicago-based sports consultant believes Minneapolis will be hosting the Super Bowl in 2019. Marc Ganis of SportsCorp told The Indianapolis Star that he believes for 2018, New Orleans will land the NFL title game. Why Minneapolis in ’19? Ganis believes the decision will be a “thank-you” by the NFL for that city building a new publicly-financed stadium for the Vikings. Regarding Indy, Gannis said the arrest of Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay on suspicion of drunk driving won’t hurt this city’s chances to host another Super Bowl.

Irsay’s next move:  The Colts owner is voluntarily entering rehab. You’ll remember he was arrested Sunday night in Carmel for DUI and possession of a controlled substance. He now faces several felony charges related to the incident. The Colts say Irsay checked himself into a highly-respected health care facility on Monday and is “committed to

undergoing the treatment and care necessary to help him meet his challenges head-on.” Irsay has a history of addiction issues.
