He might POTUS but we can’t help but giggle when President Barack Obama makes a flub here and there. His latest slip up was during the “Women of Soul” event at the White House. While legends Aretha Franklin and Patti Labelle performed during the concert Thursday night, President Obama turned the tables and decided to tribute Aretha and do a special version of “R-E-S-P-E-C-T.”

I’m sure his heart was in the right place when he turned the song into a battle cry for American-Americans, woman and “everyone who felt marginalized,” but the crowd got a kick out of his serenade when he spelled it “R-S-P-E-C-T.”

Soulful singers Janelle Monae and Jill Scott also made appearances. The music icons were joined by newcomer, 20-year-old Ariana Grande.

Gotta love our President!
