Yasiin Bey–Mos Def– to perform in Africa on Muhammad Ali’s Birthday

Rapper Yasiin Bey, or Mos Def, will take the stage in nonor of boxing legend Muhammad Ali on Friday, part of Bey’s newly announced “Time Is Always Now” initiative. It will stream live on Hypetrak.com from somewhere in Africa, and the exact location will not be revealed until the end of the performance. The artist formally known as Mos Def will debut 3 new tracks. The event will begin streaming at 5:30pm eastern.
