A wind chill warning is in effect until 7 p.m. Tuesday night.  The National Weather Service says temperatures could drop as low as 15 below in the morning hours before climbing barely above zero. The wind chill will be between 30 and 40 below zero.  Due to these frigid temps, schools, services and business are either closed or on a delay.

Take note:  IPS remains closed for a second day.  IndyGo has canceled all fixed route busses for a second day–except standing dialysis appointments on Open Door–and the State of Indiana will be open but is operating on a delay.  Governor Mike Pence has called workers back by 10 a.m., but will leave it to their own discretion regarding their travel safety.  Essential state workers must report at their regularly scheduled times.
