A campaign to create a national day of giving at the start of the annual holiday season is underway today. #GivingTuesday falls on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This annual event, now in its second year celebrates and encourages charitable activities that support non-profit organizations. Organizers ask that partners create and commit to a project for today and then help spread the word to their networks by using the hashtag #GivingTuesday.
