Funeral arrangements have been finalized for an IMPD officer who died from a heart attack.
Tim Day, a 26-year veteran of the department, died last week at church. He was not on duty.
A viewing for Officer Day will be held this Friday from 12 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. Saturday.
Both memorials will be held at Grace Missionary Baptist Church on College Avenue.
Day’s funeral will include the IMPD Chief’s honor guard, flag detail, mounted unit and a motorcycle escort.
