While IMPD is burying one of their own, lost in the line of duty—Indianapolis will be patrolled. Officers from across the state will be here serving citizens. The FOP says many of the officers are volunteering their time.
Families and friends of MarionCounty murder victims gathered yesterday at OvercomingChurch in Indy for the seventh annual National Day of Remembrance. The 120 names of each homicide victim here over the past year were read aloud and candles were lit in their honor. This is a program of the Church Federation of Greater Indianapolis.
Nine students from Washington Irving School 14 were taken to the hospital with minor injuries Wednesday night after their Indianapolis School Bus crashed near the 800 block of North Rural Street. No major injuries were reported.
