Maybe there should be another category for the 55th Grammy Awards — best “dis.” Plenty were lobbed, and we’re not talking about the Twittersphere — these insults were hurled right from the stage. Here some of the most memorable moments some would probably prefer to forget.

Chris Brown and Frank Ocean are still in a spat: The two took their differences all the way to the Staples Center. Ocean and Brown, both up for Best Urban Contemporary Album, are officially rivals. Ocean ended up winning the Grammy. The two allegedly fought outside Westlake Studios in Los Angeles on Jan. 27, with Ocean sustaining injuries but reportedly saying he would not press charges. After all, winning might be the best revenge.

‘In other Disses’

Jay-Z couldn’t resist: After accepting the award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (“No Church in the Wild”) along with Frank Ocean, Kanye West and Terius “The-Dream” Nash, Beyonce’s husband grabbed the mic and alluding to “The-Dream’s” head wear, added, “I want to thank the swap meet for his hat.” Ouch. The Dream’s worst nightmare?

Maybe CBS sent out the biggest insult of all: The network chose to ran Hilton Hotel commercials over the host, LL Cool J’s over-the-top performance at the end of the show. We guess CBS did the math and figured it was better to have LL in a huff rather than a sponsor.
