Is R. Kelly a swagger jacker? According to Trey Songz, the R&B veteran has been stealing for years.
While the crooner has insisted that there is no beef between him and Kelly for months, Songz seems to be annoyed with constant R. Kelly comparisons:
“People say, ‘Well, I hear a lot of R. Kelly in your music.’ So what?,” Songz told Vibe magazine, which hits newsstands April 13. “R. Kelly took Aaron Hall’s whole style. Two albums straight. … You can say what you want about me.”
As previously reported, Songz covers the latest issue of Vibe, which debuted its cover earlier this week (pictured).
According to Vibe editor in chief, Jermaine Hall, Songz will entertain both men and women in the magazine’s April/May issue.
“I wanted to push the sex envelope with Trey’s shoot visually,” Hall said in a statement. “We were able to come up with shots that are equally entertaining for men and women.”
