INDIANAPOLIS – Police had to be called in to break up scuffles that erupted at two Indianapolis Kmart stores early Thanksgiving morning.

Shoppers waited in line overnight at Kmarts across the country to get vouchers for a 32-inch plasma TV priced as just less than $200.

But tempers flared outside the stores at 2715 S. Madison Ave. and 6780 W. Washington St. when some shoppers began selling their vouchers for a profit and others were too late to get vouchers, police said.

No serious injuries were reported and no arrests were made.
