For some reason viewers aren’t glued to Vh1’s “Basketball Wives LA” like they were last season. Reports show that only a little over 1 million people tune in each week (compared to the first season’s 2 million each episode).

The drop in viewers may be due to a few changes the show made this time around.

For one, Imani Showalter decided the show wasn’t right for her and stepped away. After questions from her fans as to why she tweeted:

The show also brought in new cast members Adi “Bambi” Benson and Brooke Bailey, video vixen and girlfriend to Pistons’ player Vernon  Macklin. The two girls do have some drama of their own that supposedly began BEFORE they joined the show. But it seems like a reach and isn’t really bringing in viewers like the network may have hoped.

Why do YOU think the show isn’t as popular as it was the first season?

Hopefully it gets better for them. I’ll keep watching!
