Man Shot and Killed by Deputies Outside Hendricks County Courthouse
HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind.–There was a shooting outside the Hendricks County Courthouse Monday afternoon.
Hendricks County Public Information Officer Jim Yetter says the call came in around 1 pm near the intersections of Main and Cross Streets in Danville. A sheriff’s deputy shot someone outside the courthouse.
“Indiana State Police will be handling the investigation of the shooting,” said Yetter.
He confirmed that the suspect was shot and no one else was injured. Yetter also said the scene has since been secured.
