Kobe, Gianna Bryant Mural Vandalized but…

A mural honoring the lives of Kobe and Gianna Bryant has been vandalized. The mural, on Main Street in Downtown Los Angeles, was completed just days after the legendary Laker, his daughter and seven others died in a helicopter crash in January of 2020. It depicts Kobe with Gianna Bryant when she was a toddler. The mural was also featured in a commercial for Super Bowl 56. The artist who created the mural, who goes by Sloe Motions, was planning to restore the artwork by establishing a GoFundMe page. Shortly after the fundraiser was established, Lakers star Luka Dončić donated the entire $5,000 goal.
