Kendrick Lamar broke a major record on the opening night of his Grand National Tour with SZA and Mustard, grossing $9.1 million from over 47,000 fans in Minneapolis. This achievement makes Lamar’s concert the highest-grossing hip-hop show of all time, surpassing Eminem’s previous record. The tour, in support of Lamar’s album GNX, has already seen historic attendance numbers and is set to continue with 36 more shows. SZA also released a deluxe edition of her album SOS, LANA ahead of the tour, featuring new tracks and collaborations.
