J. Cole Producer Shares Insight Into ‘The Fall Off’ Album

J. Cole‘s producer DZL has shared details about the rapper’s upcoming album, The Fall Off.  “It’s Cole in his bag. Top tier raps, top-level rapping, top-level storytelling. This project is going to give people a deeper insight into him as a man, him as a human being, him as a father, and him as a husband.”

“I think he’s mysterious and stays out of the public eye, away from the spotlight,” DZL continued. “This album is going to give more of an insight into who he is and it’s really incredible — top to bottom no skips. I really can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”

The album is said to showcase Cole’s talent and provide a more personal look into his life. The producer also mentioned that the project will feature a dreamy instrumental with references to current events and societal issues, including an attempt on Trump’s life; “I’m that bass in your trunk, the bullet that missed Trump / The gun that jammed ’cause it seemed God had other plans,” he raps. Cole also raps about the threat of artificial intelligence to the creative arts. J.Cole’s, The Fall Off, is highly anticipated and expected to be a compelling and introspective body of work when it’s released.
