Viacom Sues Nick Cannon and Zeus Network Over ‘Bad Vs. Wild’
Nick Cannon, known for creating and hosting MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out,” is facing a lawsuit from Viacom alleging that his new show, “Bad Vs. Wild,” on the Zeus Network is a copy of “Wild ‘N Out.” The legal battle raises questions about intellectual property rights and contractual obligations in the entertainment industry. “Wild ‘N Out,” a popular improv rap battle show, has been on air for two decades and 21 seasons. Viacom claims that “Bad Vs. Wild” infringes on key elements of their show and is seeking to stop its production and distribution. Nick Cannon and Zeus Network have not publicly responded to the allegations.
