Kenny Moore II Evaluates the Indianapolis Colts Season

The season for the Indianapolis Colts has not gone how they expected. There have been so many chapters to this season if it was being told in a story.
One chapter of the story must focus on the defense. While there have been a lot of shortcomings, frustrations, and inconsistent performances, there have been two constants. Kenny Moore II and DeForest Buckner.
“The story would be just taking care of opportunities and if not, then you’ll find yourself in a bigger hole. If you do, maybe you’ll like where you are. The missed opportunities for the Colts this season are without a doubt the loss to Jacksonville, Green Bay when Malik Willis was starting and losing to a banged-up Houston team in week eight.
In the 38-30 win on Sunday afternoon against the Tennessee Titans, Moore recorded two interceptions. One set the Colts up on a short field and allowed Indianapolis to go ahead 24-7 in the first half. The second interception ended the game to seal the win for the Colts. Even though his statistics don’t match last season, they are very close.
Gus Bradley has asked more from Moore this season than any other season. It seems that he has lined up more on the outside this season compared to previous seasons because of the lack of depth at the position and wanting to make sure one of the team’s best open field tacklers is on the field.
There are two opportunities left for the Colts to put themselves in playoff position. The first one comes against the New York Giants on Sunday afternoon at 1pm.
