Step 1

First you need to set aside some time for yourself, which will be the most important thought of the day, because if you’re no good to yourself how are you going to be any good to anybody else? So be good to yourself. Pamper yourself with life’s little luxuries if you can, basically you have to if no one else is there to do it for you.(Literally)

  • Step 2

    Next you will need to go out and purchase your favorite bubble bath(if you do not have it at home). Purchase the candles in the same scent as well for a more enjoying moment. Make sure you have the house to yourself. Run your bath water and turn on some nice jazzy music, pour yourself nice glass of bubbly, rather it is sparkling cider or wine or whatever you drink, just think relaxation.

  • Step 3

    Get your robe or your satin lounge-wear available, have your favorite subtle perfume set aside, and your favorite lotion, if you prefer. Next, get you a nice glass of wine or your favorite juice and set it where you can reach it and not knock it off in the tub. Next step into your time of luxury(your bubble bath) just sit back and enjoy with some nice slow smooth jazz playing. Disregard all phone calls, emails, ims and anything else that will be a distraction to you. Relax for about an hour. Step out, dry yourself off and put on that nice smelling subtle perfume and/or body talc, find you a nice movie or a book and curl up in the bed and relax, take some time to spend some (me) time.

  • Step 4

    Just take the rest of the day for yourself and don’t worry about no one else. Do as much as you like for yourself just for that one day if that is all the time you can permit yourself for the moment. Because you’re special and you should always treat yourself that way. When its all over, you’ll be glad you did!
