The President says Herman Cain has asked to be withdrawn from consideration for a seat on the Federal Reserve Board. President Trump tweeted he will respect Cain’s wishes and called him “a great American who truly loves our Country!” On April 4th, Trump said he was recommending the former pizza executive for one of the two vacancies on the seven-member Fed Board. Trump has already appointed four people to the Fed Board since taking office, including Chairman Jerome Powell.
