The National Enquirer is apparently up for sale.  American Media Incorporated issued a statement Wednesday saying it is looking at its strategic options for the tabloid.  They said that future opportunities for the tabloids can be best exploited by a different ownership.  The Enquirer could be facing legal troubles.  It signed a non-prosecution agreement with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York in the Michael Cohen case, including agreeing to not break any more laws.  Now, a new investigation might be beginning after Amazon founder Jeff Bezos claimed that Saudi Arabia was behind the hack of his cell phone and the National Enquirer tried to extort him.
