For now Obamacare is the law of the land and December 15th was the final day Americans can sign up for health care coverage and possibly receive government subsidies to pay for it. The future however is less clear after a federal judge in Texas ruled the law is unconstitutional. President Trump is calling on Congress to pass a new health care law but has not provided a plan. He did say he wants to cover pre-existing coverage, which Obamacare does. The ruling in Texas will be appealed.
