Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer says Senate Democrats are willing to vote “yes” on a bipartisan healthcare deal. Appearing on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” the New York Democrat says if Majority Leader Mitch McConnell brings the bill up for a vote, it would “pass overwhelmingly.” After numerous attempts to repeal and replace Obamacare, the leaders of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee created an outline for a bill aimed at stabilizing the health insurance markets. Schumer calls it a good compromise with 60 senators supporting it.
