The Brangelina breakup has taken an unusual turn.
After Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt earlier this week, details of the couple’s split have emerged and most of it is jaw-dropping. Reports surfaced that Brad was under investigation by the LAPD and L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services for allegedly getting verbally abusive and physical with his children. But the LAPD confirmed that the story is totally false.
The Police Department said in a statement, “LAPD is not handling any report or allegations into child abuse for Mr. Brad Pitt. We don’t have anything on Brad Pitt right now. We have confirmed with the detectives, and according to our detectives there are no active investigations regarding Brad Pitt.”
The story claimed that the famous couple and their kids were on a flight last Wednesday when he allegedly got drunk on the private jet and went wild, screaming and getting physical with the children. However, law enforcement denies any involvement in the situation.
When news of the split broke earlier this week, rumors surfaced that it was due to Pitt’s affair with co-star Marion Cotillard. But the actress vehemently denied the accusations in an Instagram post, revealing that she’s in love, expecting a baby, and not cheating with Brad.
Yikes!
