Roland Martin asks Brilliant Corner‘s Presdient Cornell Belcher if Black Lives Matter has more of an influence on African-Americans than traditional civil rights organizations based on a new poll.
“I was surprised that overall the community was split 35 to 39. 47% of millennials say Black Lives Matter represents for them more than civil rights organization. And Gen Xers too. Black Lives Matter has impacted the conversation. Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton are now talking about police injustice,” Belcher said.
