Well, the Nina Simone biopic has an official relase date which is April 22nd. The first poster for the movie was featured by ‘Entertainment Weekly.‘ And as it was before when it was announced that Zoe Saldana was going to play Nina Simone, the twitterverse was all ablaze. Now with the official release date, twitter is on fire again. Most complaints about just finding darker skinned actresses like, Lupita Nyong’o or Viola Davis to play Nina instead of using make up to darken Zoe’s skin.
“Nina”, also stars Davis Oyelowo and is written and directed by Cynthia Mort.
