In February during Karen in the Afternoon its Black HER-Story Month where we are celebrating Black History month everyday with a “She Fact.”

Katherine Johnson was a pioneer in space science and computing. She was known as the “girl who loved to count.” On November 16, 2015, President Barack Obama included Johnson among 17 great Americans with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2015.
