Gary Anthony Williams is best known for his work as Uncle Ruckus on the animated series Boondocks, but now he’s the voice behind TV One’s hit show, Unsung.

So how exactly did he get his start in the voiceover business?

“I was doing improv comedy in Atlanta with my buddy and he liked my voice and asked me to do a commercial for him.”

Tonight’s episode of the popular series follows the career of 90’s super group H-Town and Williams says he learns something new from every story.
