Metro police arrested a suspect in connection with an early Tuesday morning shooting that left a worker at a northeast side gas station hospitalized in critical condition. WTHR-TV reports a 27-year-old man, seen wearing a red hoodie on the surveillance tape was turned in by relatives.  The suspect allegedly entered a Speedway gas station on East 71st Street near Keystone Avenue about 1:15 a.m this morning. It’s there, the employee and the suspect chatted and possibly had a disagreement. The victim told metro police the shooter was acting strangely. The suspect left the gas station and then came back with a gun and shot that employee in the face and abdomen. The victim was taken to St Vincent Hosp in critical condition. Police took the suspect into custody on the city’s northwest side in the 5700 block of Renn Lane.
