Set the temperature

The United Way of Central Indiana is reminding Indy that the temperatures are dropping and the time will soon arrive that residents will have to heat their homes for the fall and winter seasons. That’s sometimes a daunting economic task that requires assistance for some. If you need energy assistance, the time is now to apply for the Marion County Energy Assistance Program. Mary Jones, who serves as the agency’s director of basic needs stopped by the show on Sunday to share more about the program and let the audience know they’ll begin taking appointments to help with utility bills on October 19.

To get connected, call 211 or click HERE to go to the Marion County Energy Assistance website for more details. There, they also have great tips for helping you to lower your utility bills too.
