Former Subway Spokesman Jared Fogle pleaded guilty to several charges of child pornography in federal court Wednesday morning in downtown Indianapolis. Fogle entered the courthouse around 9 a.m., about an hour after his attorney Ron Elberger.  The charges include distributing and receiving child porn and traveling across state lines seeking sex with minors. Some of the minors in the pornography images, according to the official charges appeared to be as young as six years old. Fogle also allegedly paid for sex with minors.

Russell Taylor who served as the executive director of Fogle’s charity, The Jared Foundation, is listed as a co-conspirator. Multiple images of child porn were found in an April raid on Taylor’s home. Taylor is currently behind bars in the custody of U.S. Marshals. He attempted to commit suicide while in the Marion County Jail. Later, on July 7, the FBI and other local law enforcement officials raided Fogle’s Zionsville home taking computers, files and other electronics. They did not, however arrest Fogle.

Fogle is expected to sign a plea agreement in connection to these child porn charges around 11 a.m.

Various media, including WTHR-TV who originally broke this story, are reporting the U.S. Attorney’s Office is scheduled to hold a press conference this afternoon at 12:30 p.m. at their offices to discuss the charges against Fogle and a plea deal. This press conference has not been officially confirmed. Elberger, nor Fogle, offered any comment. However Subway released a statement Tuesday saying, “We have already ended our relationship with Jared and have no further comment.”

This is an ongoing story.

The federal district court released documents with the charges in this case. Read the charges, courtesy of WTHR, HERE.
