Mo’ne Davis, who is best known for her skills on the pitching mound during the 2014 Little League World Series, has been drafted by the Harlem Globetrotters. The Globetrotters choose talented athletes from all over the world and from different athletic backgrounds to represent the team.
Davis wants to play basketball at a collegiate level in her future. The Globetrotters also announced that they want to sign Davis to a “Future Discovery Clause” so they will have the rights to her after she graduates college. As for now, Davis is only a day shy of turning 14 on June 24th, and I’m sure this was an awesome early birthday present for her.
