Over the weekend, President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama hosted a private party at the White House filled with big names in attendance.  Apparently Prince and Stevie Wonder performed at the private event.

Josh Earnest, White House Press Secretary, confirmed a private party was held at the White House but didn’t comment on the evening’s entertainment.  “The President and the First Lady reserve the right to hold private parties at the White House, and they did it on their own dime,” Earnest told reporters.

Seattle Seahawks Quarterback, Russell Wilson, attended the party with singer Ciara as his date, and posted photos on Instagram.  Wilson confirmed the performance of Prince and Stevie Wonder via Instagram stating, “Dancing at The White House to Prince & Stevie Wonder w/ my lady @Ciara. Thanks Mr. President & First Lady! #IsntSheLovely #Blessed.”  Others rumored to be in attendance were: Al Sharpton,  Dave Chappell, and Bon Jovi, Tyler Perry, James Taylor and more.
