The American Red Cross is holding its first-ever national “Giving Day” today. The 24-hour fundraising effort supports the work that the organization does throughout the year in communities every day, not just when there’s a disaster to respond to. Here’s how you can help. Go to RedCross.Org or call 1-800-Red-Cross to make a donation. The public can also help build awareness of today’s Giving Day event by using a special hashtag on both Twitter and Facebook. Use #allin1day.
