Erykah Badu, “Tyler, The Creator” To Appear on Adult Swim Series

Erykah Badu and Odd Future’s “Tyler, The Creator” will lend their voices to a musical special of Adult Swim’s animated series “Black Dynamite” this weekend. Saturday’s season finale, titled “The Wizard of Watts,” will use music and comedy to address police brutality. The episode finds the title character on vacation when riots break out over a heightened police presence. As chaos erupts, Black Dynamite is hit in the head with a brick and hallucinates about the “Magical Land of Oz-Watts.” Apart from Erykah and Tyler, the episode will also feature cameos from actors J.B. Smoove and Tim Blake Nelson. The special will air on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim on Saturday at 10:30 pm Eastern.
