Salt-N-Pepa are repurposing their 1987 hit “Push It” to push GEICO car insurance in a new commercial.

The ad features rappers Cheryl “Salt” James and Sandra “Pepa” Denton along with their DJ Spinderella and shows them applying the song’s suggestive lyrics to people pushing open doors and pushing elevator buttons. One scene shows the three motivating pregnant women in a Lamaze class as they chant “oh baby, baby.” “Push It” was released as the B-side of Salt-N-Pepa’s single “Tramp.” In 1988 the song peaked at number 19 on Billboard’s Hot 100 songs chart.
