Thursday night was a big night in entertainment as Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal returned to ABC and the series premiere of How To Get Away With Murder. Like many of us, People Magazine took to twitter to live tweet during the shows. Unfortunately, People’s team didn’t have any sensitivity training as twitter exploded after a few offensive tweets.
During Scandal, Olivia’s first scene was of her on the beach with natural hair. When she returned to DC her hair was straight. Which lead to the tweet below.
Then during “How to Get Away with Murder” this tweet was sent.
After the backlash People deleted both tweets and issued this apology.
