Stars will be coming together this fall to honor Mavis Staples. Michael McDonald, Gregg Allman, and Aaron Neville are some of the first confirmed performers for “I’ll Take You There – Celebrating 75 Years of Mavis Staples.” The lineup also features country stars Eric Church and Marty Stuart, the band Widespread Panic, Taj Mahal, and others. Mavis, who turned 75 in July, will perform as well, while the lineup is expected to grow. “I’ll Take You There” is set for Chicago’s Auditorium THeater on November 19th. Tickets go on sale September 29th.
