A jury has decided to convict the man involved in the tragic jet ski accident that left Usher’s 11-year-old stepson, Kile Glover, dead.  Jeffrey Simon Hubbard was found guilty of homicide as well as serious injury by vessel, reckless operation, unlawful operation of personal watercraft and boat traffic violation.

In the July 2012 accident, Hubbard, who is a friend of the family, ran over Glover, who was being pulled on an inner tube. He died several weeks later after being declared brain dead. Our prayers are still with his mother and father, Tameka Foster and Ryan Glover, as well as Usher and their close friends and family.

Foster told Channel 2 Action News, “At the end of the day, I know he didn’t do it on purpose. He could’ve only loved Kile.”

He’s scheduled to be sentenced on March 5 at 1:30pm.
