*Things continue to look up for ‘The Haves and the Have Nots.’
Indiewire.com reports the Tyler Perry drama set a series record this past Tuesday night (1/21/13) by drawing in 2.84 million total viewers with its latest episode.
The ratings achievement is the latest in an ongoing surge for ‘The Haves and the Have Nots,” which has seen a +2% increase in total viewers over the season premiere (1/7/14), and posted double-digit growth compared to last week’s episode, which rose +11% in total viewers (1/14/14).
Among Women ages 25-54, Tuesday’s episode of “The Haves and the Have Nots,” was the #1 cable telecast in its time period (9:30 p.m.) and the #3 cable telecast for the night.
The episode, which was the third one in the show’s second season, ranked as the #3 telecast in OWN history among total viewers, trailing “Oprah’s Next Chapter” with Bobbi Kristina (3/11/12) and “Oprah’s Next Chapter” with Lance Armstrong (1/17/13).
