West Lafayette Campus Seeks Answers
Following a deadly campus shooting at Purdue University, authorities say it appears the gunman who shot and killed a fellow student on the campus Tuesday targeted him specifically. The suspected gunman has been identified as Cody Cousins, a 23-year-old engineering student. The victim, 21-year-old Andrew Boldt, was a teaching assistant at the school. Investigators are seeking the motive and any connection between the men. Students were out of class on Wednesday to give them a chance to seek counseling if needed. Cousins’ court appearance on Wednesday morning to answer murder charges was delayed and moved to Thursday.
