Snow and Blustery Temps Cause Delays and Closures Tuesday

Here we go again–another Canadian blast with the “Polar Vortex” label is hitting the United States and blasting us right here in Indianapolis.  We are under a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY.  The National Weather Service says up to four-inches of snow could fall this morning in Central Indiana. This expected snow will ride the edge of that cold air blast that will blow through our area bringing us windchills that will linger for a while below zero.

This bad weather is causing some messy and hazardous road conditions so be careful if you have to go out. It’s also causing some closures and delays for schools and area businesses.

Indianapolis Public Schools is on a two-hour delay today. Bundle your children up warmly for their trip to and from school. Because temperatures will drop throughout the day, it be much colder when students are dismissed from school today versus their morning commute.
