Must See: Oprah Talks with Nelson Mandela and Idris Elba

In honor of the passing of Nelson Mandela, the OWN network will air Oprah‘s historic interview with Nelson Mandela from 2000 tonight (Dec 8) at 8 p.m. ET/PT on OWN. Together, they discuss his family, his fight against oppression, his 27 years of imprisonment, how he forgave his jailers and liberated a nation to freedom.

In addition, Oprah will talk to the stars behind some of the year’s most powerful performances including Idris Elba (Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom), Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave) and Michael B. Jordan (Fruitvale Station) on an all-new episode of “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” airing TONIGHT, December 8 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.
