Marissa Alexander was sent to prison for 20 years for firing a gun in the air and on Wednesday she finally had a chance to go home.  Alexander will be under house arrest until her new trial starts, but hopefully this is the beginning of the end of this outrageous case.  Many nationwide spoke out against the unfairness of Alexander’s sentence and the perceived double standard as George Zimmerman, whose actions led to the death of Trayvon Martin, walked free.
