Chris Brown has his share of issues, but one thing we love about the singer/actor is his dance movies. His latest movie, “Battle of the Year” starring “Lost” actor Josh Holloway and Laz Alonso, showcases them in some pretty amazing ways.

An elite group of dancers is brought together in isolation to form a cohesive crew to challenge a dominant Korean squad. Of course this doesn’t happen without the drama that is the basis of the movie, but fortunately it also doesn’t happen without a whole lot of dance sequences.

“Thank God I’m not dancing because break-dancing is on a whole ‘nother level now,” Alonso told the Tom Joyner Morning Show. “When I was growing up, we were on the ground doing backspins. These kids today are in the air doing backflips and all kinds of crazy stuff. I never felt so old in my life. You want to hold on, you look in the mirror and say ‘I’m still that dude.’ But on that set, seeing Chris Brown and all them kids do that crazy stuff, I was like maaan….”

Alonso says that he actually used to breakdance but those days are far past him. People might not realize that aside from roles in other movies including the lead in “Jumping The Broom” Alonso was also in “Avatar,” one of the most successful movies of all time.
