What a beautiful day so far in the city of Indianapolis.  It’s not too hot, yet and a perfect time to get your day started with some fun activities for the entire family. Check out some of the events listed below:

  • The Lucas Oil NexGeneRacers is here at the Indiana State Fairgrounds through Sunday at 5pm.  Regestration varies by course, but if you would like more information contact them at 317.598.8770 or http://www.nxgdriving.com/
  • Visit Monon Coffee Company for “Sweet Saturday” as Louise’s Sweets host this event going on until 12noon.  It’s held on the first Saturday of each month. See http://www.louises-sweets.com/ for more information
  • The 47th Annual Penrod Arts Fair is back at the IMA featuring more than 300 artists, six stages of entertainment, a kids area and more.  Penrod is going on until 5pm tonight so see their website for more information at http://www.penrod.org/
  • For more cultural arts check out the Midwest Street Art Exhibit at IUPUI where the gallery has many different pieces including graffiti.  This exhibit runs through Oct. 4, for times and prices see http://on.fb.me/18xrG0r

  • The four-day event continues this weekend…its Oktoberfest at German Park!  Great food, live music and much, much more starts back up today from 4-11pm.  Sun, 4-9pm and admission is only $5 kids 13 and under are FREE.  See http://www.indianapolisgak.com/oktoberfest/ for more information
