Help in the Heartland: Central Indiana flood relief. When the waters rise, Hoosiers rise higher. Supporting American Red Cross disaster relief.

Similar to the chorus of her hit single, “I’m Goin’ Down,” Mary J. Blige’s luck is continuing to go on a downward spiral, as reports have surfaced stating the singer owes millions in taxes.

According to TMZ, the IRS have filed a tax lien against Blige in February claiming the Grammy Award-winner failed to pay $3.4 million in income taxes over the course of three years.

The 42-year-old’s financial security has been in question in recent months due to a string of events including an outstanding $901,769.65 tax lien in the State of New Jersey, and defaulting on a $500,000 loan.
