We stayed at Iberostar Bavaro/Dominica/Punta Cana Resort. All inclusive. The beaches & resort were very nice.
The food was pretty good, but the beaches, resort, crowd, and nightlife were excellent.
We met so many cool people (staff and other tourists). Our rooms were outstanding (they were all junior suites). Had temps around 80 – 85 degrees all week (which was a nice break from winter in Vermont).
We were a group of 5 and had an absolute blast. Everything from the partying in/around the pool to one of the most gorgeous beaches I’ve ever been to.
I love the coastline, and this beach and resort was off the hook.
We could’ve probably toured around a bit more but hardly ever did. It was great right where we were. There were some shacks about half a mile to a mile up the beach with souvenirs & local wares…the little beach bar/shack up there is cool to do in the afternoon…the locals are nice but we were cautious so as to not get swindled – these shacks are about as far off the resort as we got. We’ll probably do more exploring our next trip.
