Mary J. Blige has a brand new look.
The multi-platinum recording artist was spotted in a stunning blonde Afro wig, on Tuesday.
The big-hair transformation was for a gospel musical the 42-year-old was filming in New York.
The movie, titled Black Nativity, is a re-telling of the Bible’s nativity story and co-stars Jennifer Hudson, Angela Bassett and Forest Whitaker.
Blige, who has won nine Grammy awards over the years, lends both her vocal and acting talents to the upcoming musical.
The My Life singer-songwriter told BlackFilm in January: ‘I just got a part for a movie called Black Nativity. I play Platinum Fro and she’s an angel.’
