Rapper DMX and Iyanla Vanzant come face to face in an unexpected way on the season premiere of “Iyanla, Fix My Life.”Addressing Vanzant Tuesday, March 5, the rapper yells, telling Vanzant that she shouldn’t speak to him.
“Shut the f*** up man. You ain’t got to be intimidated man. Just stop running your mouth,” DMX tells Vanzant in video released Tuesday.
According to OWN, Iyanla travels to DMX’s hometown of Yonkers, where she hopes to help him with his life, but things quickly go awry as DMX’s emotions run high and his temper takes over.
Being honest with DMX, Iyanla confronts him during the episode, regarding drug use, andeven asks if he is high as she sits in front of him in a recording studio.
Due to his violent temper, Iyanla Vanzant ends up walking away, but it’s unclear if she returns and if DMX agrees to behave differently in order to get the help that he needs.
“He don’t get to roll up in our park and play his game,” Vanzant says at one point.
