Tempestt Bledsoe is back on the small screen– and once again on a show portraying Black families in a positive light. :)

We know her as Vanessa Huxtable from the Cosby Show and the actress says she’s thrilled to get back to work.

“That show was my childhood,” said Bledsoe who worked alongside Phylicia Rashad, Lisa Bonet co Keshia Knight Pulliam. “It did so many things. It greatly influenced the kinds of projects I did.It helped form my core values, like my work ethic,” she told Associated Press.

Now you’ll get to see her every week on Jimmy Fallon produced show “Guys With Kids,” a show about three dads, one being played by Anthony Anderson, in their thirties trying their hardest to hold on to their youth. Hilarious..

Bledsoe will be opposite Anderson as his working wife. He says he’s excited to show a hard-working Black father, something that is rarely shown on television.

“We just don’t have that right now, not on network television,” said Anderson, who has two children of his own. “Like the Cosby Show, this will be an opportunity to see the love, support, humor and beauty of a black family on TV,” he said.
